Eagles Convention in Chicago Heights highlights Blue Island achievements
The Illinois State Convention of the Order of Eagles met in Chicago Heights June 18 1920. Blue Island Aerie No 1832 won first prize for largest parade membership and second for best dressed with about 20 Eagles from Riverdale and Dalton joining in. The gathering drew large attendance and was a great success.
