At the May 28 meeting the village manager’s report covered street cleanups cinder and ash hauling sign installation and grading on Wentworth and Stewart avenues. Drainage work raised basins and corrected a by passed drain. hydrant painting and a five foot siren tower were noted. Building and public grounds details included storage area cleanup pump house repairs air compressor, air hose purchase, and a water meter removal. Water service installed at 134th and Halsted to supply Riverdale Corporation.
