Hit and Run Breaks Hurts Riverdale Man 130th Street Incident
Frank Newark living on Edbrooke avenue Riverdale suffered severe injury to his right hand and arm Monday evening when a passing driver swerved around his car at 130th street and Indiana avenue. Elmer Schmutzler and Dr C H Thomson helped extract Newark and his infant son from the wreck. Mrs Newark and the child were uninjured. Newark was rushed to Blue Island hospital where doctors hope to save the injured arm. The fleeing car left its license number with witnesses.
