The Doldale Sportsmen defeated Blue Island 16 to 6 Tuesday at Doldale field. Tonight a colored girls team from 51st Street Chicago will face Riverdale, then the Sportsmen play Homewood at 8 30. Sunday they host Hegewisch Hermits at Dalton after beating the Aces last Sunday. a firemen game was canceled.

Daniel dived in after Miss Pajor when bathers heard a cry as she disappeared in 18 feet of water. Rescue teams from Dolton Riverdale Calumet Park County highway police Blue Island fire department and Chief John Link joined the effort. Dr M Robert Waldner Jr of Dolton assisted in reviving her with medical aid.

Rev John Kleinz Sees Last Rites in Riverdale Hit and Run
The Rev John Kleinz a Pontifical college professor provided last rites after a fatal hit and run in Riverdale. Police officer Grover Cogswell arrived first and funeral services for Mrs Sadler were held at St Marys Catholic Church in Blue Island with interment at St Benedicts. The deceased born on the Isle of Malta married Charles Sadler in 1897, lived in Riverdale 20 years and survived by her husband and three children. After an inquest Gallagher was sent to Chicago police for grand jury review.
