United Service Organizations Aim to Aid Army and Navy
The U S O program plans 339 service clubs near camps and naval bases to provide counsel, religious services, and recreation. Six national organizations join forces to run the effort, funded by community drives, with the aim of supporting young servicemen and defense workers while preserving citizen rights and moral conduct.
