Carl Wulff Died In Summer Kitchen Accident
Carl Wulff prominent Holton businessman died in his summer kitchen near a gas stove. He reportedly fell asleep while resting after a long day, and a slow gas leak caused asphyxiation. A coroner’s jury ruled the death accidental. Funeral services will be held at Immanuel church in Dalton with interment at Oakland Cemetery. He was born May 9, 1858 in Pommerania Germany and emigrated to America in 1887 settling in Dalton.

A Happy Hour motor truck party July 1 enjoyed a long trip through Hammond and Robey with a large crowd and hearty meals.
