Plan for Stony Island Avenue Highway Paving
Aldermen Lindell and Rowan presented an ordinance to convey a 100 foot right of way to the State of Illinois for a model highway extending Stony Island Avenue. The project, 40 percent complete, plans two twenty foot concrete lanes on slag bed with potential future lane additions to reach 200 feet.
