Miss Ruth Van Drunen and Willis Mulder were married June 28 at Bethany Christian Reformed Church with Rev Vroon performing. The bride wore white chiffon with lace trim, attended by Marie Mulder. the groom was supported by Clarence Blink. The couple plans a Wisconsin honeymoon and will reside in South Holland.
The wedding of Gerarda Bottema and Harold Ver Duin was held July 10 at First Reformed Church South Holland with a full ceremony and reception at Pipe o’ Peace golf club. Other notes report marriages, anniversaries, illnesses, vacations, church service changes, and voter registration notices across the community.

The Swets family thanks the South Holland Volunteer Fire Department for promptness and cooperation in extinguishing a house fire. Edward J. Wernicke, returned home from Ingalls Memorial Hospital after a tonsillectomy. LeRoy Lucas and Mitchell Schaafsma of Dalton fished a week in Cable Wisconsin. The Deckman family of 135th place spent a week at the Dells Wisconsin.
