A 7:30 p m flag service features "High and Noble Patriotism" and Evangel Choir performances. The Bethany Broadcast airs at 4:30 p m on WWAE radio 1200 kilt Hammond Indiana.
Sandridge M E Church led by Rev Leopold Schneider lists Sunday worship at 9 15 and Sunday school at 10 30 on July 4. A church picnic follows on July 5, with prayer and Chow rehearsal on July 8. Our Savior's Community Lutheran highlights worship and Sunday school on July 6 9 30 a m. plus events July 6 7 9 for teachers aid Luther League picnic and related meetings.

Theodore H Lau died suddenly of a heart attack at his home at 173rd and Halsted in Homewood on Thursday June 24. Born July 7 1898 in Harvey Illinois he married Olive Housinger May 10 1922. Survived by his wife two children Teddy Jr 14 and Jeanne Olive 10 five sisters. Funeral services led by Rev Fene of the Lutheran Church Blue Island were held at home Monday at 2 am with interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Lowvale Chapter 962 O E S will host official visit by Mrs. Bertha M. Eagie and Geo. W. Marbach on July 7. The chapter marks its 11th anniversary August 18 and recently held a June 16 surprise birthday for Worthy Matron Lucile HasHin. A break July 21 to August 4 is announced for vacation.
