Judge Carroll's Brother Shot in Michigan Mine Accident
Judge Carroll was notified by telegram Thursday of the accidental shooting of his youngest brother Walter at his old home in Negaunee Michigan. A second telegram reported the brother's death. Walter, about 28, worked as a mine superintendent for a company operating several iron mines earning about 5000 dollars annually. Judge Carroll proceeded to Ne paunee and was due back by Tuesday or Wednesday.
