Driver Loses Control Hits Telephone Pole
Joe Propes of 14608 Dearborn and Zygmund John Ficek of 12810 California Blue Island were taken to St. Francis Hospital by ambulance on January 5 after a car driven by Ficek struck a curb and a telephone pole on Chicago Street in Dalton. The Dalton Police said loss of control caused the crash.

Teen-Age Club Plans Election Of Officers
The Teen-Age Club sponsored by the Harvey Moose lodge and chapter will hold a meeting January 10 from 7 to 10 p.m. with an election of officers.
