Mrs. Mathilda Kort Dies Sudden Stroke At Home

Mrs. Mathilda Slabn Kort died suddenly on Wednesday evening from a paralytic stroke. Born March 12, 1867 in Matteson Illinois, she married Frank Kort on Thanksgiving 1889. Funeral services are Sunday at 10 in the house and 10:30 at German Evangelical Church Dal ton. Interment at Matteson. She is survived by her husband a daughter Esther aged 5 her parents six sisters and one brother.

Mrs Paul Boekert’s Death Is Noted at Dalton

Mrs Paul Boekert of Dalton died Friday December 31 1909. She left husband and five sons ages 12 10 9 6 and 4 with the oldest four sent to the Catholic Guardian Angel Orphan Asylum and the youngest cared for by his grandmother. Funeral was Monday January 3 from St Marys church Riverdale. She suffered bronchial tuberculosis and once lived in a tent on Lincoln avenue near 138th.
