Roseland Hospital to Open March Eight at Last

Roseland Community Hospital nears formal opening after a 25 year effort by South End business leaders. A $50 000 weekly stock drive and a $30 000 doctors pledge helped fund the project with plans for a 300 bed facility and a nurses home valued at $100 000. Endowment funds and auxiliary support, including reflex lighting, bolster the venture as March 8 approaches.
