The Hinds Brick Co announces in its annual report that earnings for the year ended December 31 exceeded 14 percent of outstanding capital stock. Dividends at 8 percent totaled $376,000 with $252,386 added to depreciation reserve and $87,503 to taxes reserve. Added to surplus was $8,819.33. cash holdings rose while current expenses fell. President William Schlake states the firm is largely debt free aside from normal current obligations.
