Dalton Village Board Downs Police and Electrician Helper
The Dalton village board voted to lay off the regular police officer and the electrician helper amid financial strain. Bids for village hall and light plant properties were discussed with Propper’s bid accepted for the hall and a light plant bid rejected. Trustees also considered reducing an electrician’s salary, and a freight train blockage at Fredericka street prompted calls for action.
