Henry F Mohr 21 employed as a belt boy for Chicago Brick Company was hit by Western Indiana suburban train No 89 near the 136th street crossing while walking with Henry Goos toward Dalton. He suffered a crushed collarbone a broken left leg with bone protruding and other injuries. He was taken to Englewood hospital in serious condition with pneumonia developing later. His parents live in Germany and he recently came to Riverdale to live with his uncle at 303 136th street.

John F Rampke aged 80 of Riverdale died at his Highlawn home on Saturday December 16 1911 after a brief illness. He was born September 30 1831 in Brandenburg Germany and came to Riverdale in 1872 with his wife and seven children. Surviving children include Frederic Sophie Louisa and William with 48 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was a farmer and active Lutheran at St Pauls. Funeral from his daughter's home Koehncke Tuesday with services at 1 00 and 2 00 at St Pauls, Oakland Cemetery interment.
A 15 year old Chicago heiress Violet Buehler disappeared from her home on November 25. Police and parents search the city as rumors of a nearby couple and a marriage license search swirl. Suspect description lists dark brown eyes and hair, blue waist with white yoke, blue furs, velvet gloves, brown leather suitcase.
