Oak Forest Hospital Hopes for Electric Organ This Christmas
Patients at Oak Forest Hospital on Cicero Avenue hope for an electric organ as a gift from the recreation department. Nurses fitted an organ for a top musician among 7400 patients, and staff seek a second model to bring live music to bedridden wards. The organ would serve hospital concerts and musical therapy, with carts delivering performances to patient rooms and holiday carols by visitors.
