Dolton approves motor vehicle license fee amendments 1938

The village of Dolton Cook County Illinois passes an ordinance amending the 4th section of the vehicle license law. Fees set for passenger cars trucks and motorcycles include early payment discounts and pro rata discounts for new purchases. Violators face misdemeanor fines and daily penalties for failing to display current licenses.

Dalton seeks bids for cast iron pipe and hydrants

Sealed bids will be received by the Village of Dalton until 8 p m December 27 1938 for cast iron pipe fire hydrants valves valve boxes and related items. Bidding blanks available at the Village Clerk and Village Engineers Suhr Berryman Peterson and Suhr 130 North Wells Chicago Illinois. The Board reserves the right to reject any bids. The girls it is claimed don t like to wash the dishes and may sacrifice principles at the camps if the boys are appointed to wipe them.
