Paul Gall Post 303 past commanders meet at 6 30 PM at The Lido 157th and Dixie for a regular gathering with President Walter Bachmann and Secretary Edward Wirtz urging attendance. Prize winners from last week named. door prize set at 3 00. Next post meeting is Tuesday January 14 1941, with no eighth district meeting this December. Another meeting slated for Thursday January 23 at Lemont Post 243.

The Paul Gall unit 303 American Legion Auxiliary holds a regular meeting at 8 in the Legion room. Past presidents will be entertained and initiation of new members will occur. Members attended Eighth district events in Orford Park and Chicago Sherman hotel on December 6. Junior Auxiliary plans a 1:30 Saturday afternoon gathering December 14.

Juniors Organize Christmas Cheer for Veterans and Orphans
The Juniors plan a Christmas party and have sent Christmas cards and stamps to Veterans Hospitals to brighten hospitalized men on Christmas Day. They also sponsor an orphan girl at Normal. All juniors should attend the meeting Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

The Women’s Relief Corps G. W. Spencer held officer elections at its regular meeting on Friday December 6. A birthday party followed honoring Mrs Meta Schroder with delectable refreshments and a birthday cake enjoyed by members.
