Death in Dalton After Fall at Home

Chas. Van Houten, a Bavarian boarder at Mrs. Mary Schaefer's in Dalton, fell from stairs and died thirty minutes later from a fractured skull. He had lived in Dalton 11 years and worked as a blacksmith helper for the C and E I railroad. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Church Riverdale and interment was in Oakland Cemetery. Authorities will search for a Bavarian brother. Rose Sydell and her London Stile Burlesquers are booked at the Alhambra Theater for next week, featuring W. S.
