Good Roads Bond Issue Up for November Vote in Illinois
Illinois voters face a November 1918 decision on issuing bonds totaling 63 million dollars to fund a statewide road system over 190 miles long with principal and interest covered by auto license fees. The Good Roads Committee met November 26 at the Hotel LaSalle to promote the plan, with Chairman W. Fidens updating the Highway Improvement Association members.
