County approves Pullman Land site for branch hospital
At a county commissioners meeting last Monday a warrant was issued to buy 20 acres of the Pullman Land Association tract in North Roseland for 36000 dollars. The purchase passed 10 to 5 and next a city council order will clear trolley poles on Michigan avenue and pave the access to the site between 95th and 97th streets and State street. President John C Finn of the Civic Federation welcomed the assured hospital plan after Federation support.
