Cat That Cannot Be Lost Returns to Minerva at Sea
Sailors and officers of the Norwegian steamship Minerva claim the original cat that came back is aboard. The feline boarded at Lamberts Point, was left behind during the voyage to Portland, then rejoined after stowing away on a British steamer and following the Minerva to Norfolk. The cat’s voyage yielded newspaper photos on the Pacific coast, and she remains with the ship.
