Driver Graham Dies in Car From Carbon Monoxide
Charles L. Graham of Beecher, age listed as 28, died last Monday night from carbon monoxide poisoning after exhaust fumes entered his closed car on Western Avenue near the Will county line. Police and coroner investigators believe a dislodged heater pipe allowed the fumes to fill the vehicle, and Graham's efforts to escape were hindered by a locked door. The body was found by Joe Isvoid and later removed to Mossman Undertaking in Crete for an inquest pending coroner’s timetable.
