Riverdale Board OKs police hires and road work
At the August 13 Riverdale village board meeting trustees reported completion of Motor Fuel Tax road repairs. The police officer position held since August 2 was confirmed for Robert I. Willey. Street lighting changes and a new motorcycle for the police were approved pending board confirmation. The board also addressed reducing noise from the I H B railroad and extending a curb west of the S C viaduct to protect park property.
