Radtke Rossi Wedding At Our Savior's Lutheran Church
Margaret Radtke daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred Radtke and Raymond Rossi son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Rossi were married in a double ring ceremony at Our Savior's Lutheran church Riverdale. The bride wore white satin with a fingertip veil and carried white roses. Maid of honor Lillian Cook and bridesmaid Dale Nelson wore yellow net and blue net gowns respectively. Clarence Pfotenhauer and Lloyd Jenness were best man and usher. Lois Alm sang during the service. A wedding dinner followed with a reception in Dalton and the couple planned a weeklong honeymoon before living with the bride’s parents.

Mrs N Dunker of Riverdale and Samuel Piljac of Chicago united in marriage in a double ring ceremony conducted by Rev I Tando at the First Methodist church parsonage in Dalton. The bride wore a melon dress suit with white accessories and a corsage of gladioli. Mr and Mrs Charles Soderberg and daughter Nancy attended.

Marilyn Dodge and Joseph T. Medrano Jr were married Friday afternoon August 2 at Tabor Lutheran church Harvey. Rev E Nelson officiated a double ring ceremony with candles, pink carnations, and matching attire. The couple’s siblings served in bridal and wedding party roles.

After the ceremony a buffet lunch and reception were hosted at the bride’s parents’ home with pink and white decor. A three tiered cake served as the centerpiece. The couple honeymooned in the Wisconsin Dells and will live in Harvey. The bride works for Illinois Central at 12th Street station. The groom, a Fenger High School graduate, served in the Army Air Corps in Europe and now works with Dolton Radio Shop.
