Unusual Accident Injures City Mower Boy
Francis Coppens ten year old of 115 West 118th place suffered severe lacerations and a fractured left leg when a city mower passed over him in tall weeds near Perry avenue. John Peterson, a city employee and mower operator, was unaware of the boy. Police exonerated Peterson. Coppens remains in danger at Roseland Community Hospital.
