Fire Destroys the Seneca Gas Station
Fire broke out Friday morning at 12:45 at the Seneca Service station on Sibley boulevard and Indiana avenue. Firefighters kept nearby gasoline tanks cool to prevent an explosion and saved adjoining General Wrecking and Lumber property. An attendant was burned on his hands while escaping, hair singed. The cause is believed electrical. A new station will be erected.
