Dalton man John White held in Hartz kidnapping case
John White of Dalton was taken into custody Sunday night at Homewood by county police in the Hartz kidnapping case. He was released on $5,000 bonds after being taken to Blue Island for a hearing. White testified that three Italians abducted Arthur Hartz from the Alfalfa Gardens and that Marie Wallace was not present for the kidnapping.
