Riverdale sent twenty pupils to Homewood for the geography contest against two districts. Ivan Collet, a ninth grader, led with Clarence Eaton, winner of the spelling match. Four Riverdale students earned honorable mention for nearly two hundred words, including George Obeldobel Daisy Johnson Herman Brandt and Clarence Left, the last listed as an error in transcription.
