Fire destroys home of William J. Anker in South Holland
A blaze last Monday morning consumed the home of William J. Anker at 5.30, with unknown origin. Neighbors noticed the fire too late to save furniture. the barn survived. Mr. and Mrs. Anker were away. James Huizenga is critically ill with pleuro- pneumonia but recovering. The Easter cantata by First Reformed Church Choral Club drew over a thousand. The PTA holds a meeting on April 21 at 7.30 pm and has bought playground equipment. A child is born to Abel and Mrs. Dykhuizen on April 14. South Holland notes progress, Martin Mulder is ill, and local shops advertise spring footwear and home paint supplies. CIRL WANTED for housework at Gladstone's in Riverdale.
