Col. F C Propper reports Waterman held the Thornton Township supervisor post until April 21 1908 and paid bills totaling 804 14 firm figures from the supervisor cash book. Waterman’s last year expenditures reach 4033 67. his own salary covered actual services. A town village dispute over Town Hall title ended with a Quit Claim Deed and a 99 year lease. The Rosebud Pleasure Club announces a May Party at Dillner's Grove on May 1.

Frederick Sellien Dies After Hemorrhage at Riverdale
Frederick Sellien a respected Highlawn Riverdale citizen died Thursday morning after a short illness from a ruptured blood vessel. He was an Illinois Central employee for 18 years, last 10 as an engineer. He leaves a wife and two children, with funeral services set for Sunday at 1 pm and 2 pm at St Pauls German Lutheran church.
