Free Health Exhibit Opens April in Dalton and Riverdale
The Chicago Tuberculosis Institute with Cook County Bureau of Social Service hosts a two day free health exhibit at Lincoln Avenue School Dalton on April 9 and 10. Lectures by TB physicians and nurses explain causes prevention and cure with guidance on patient care. Free moving pictures and local talent accompany programs for children at 3 30 PM and 8 PM with adults admitted only with a parent.

The annual vaudeville show is planned for April 27 and a Wednesday dancing school begins at 8 PM at the Village Hall.

Tragic Crossing Accident Claims Frank Lledstrom
Frank Lledstrom of 188th street near Calumet River died after his horse and buggy collided with a fast Lake Shore Electric Express at an unprotected crossing on the C. L.8 & 8 B.R.R. He was thrown about 30 feet, brought to 115th Street station, and died en route to Pullman Hospital. body sent to Nogales morgue.
