Chilean third graders explore after school science programs

DWI Suspect Charged in Rio Rancho Homicide Case

Rio Rancho police arrest Yosvani Martinez-Gonzales, 29, of Albuquerque, for vehicular homicide after an alcohol related crash on NM 528 near Sara Road. He failed field sobriety tests, refused a breathalyzer, and had a loaded handgun in his truck. Victim Charles D. Bradley, 71, of Albuquerque, died from injuries after hospital readmission.

Fourth arrest in Martinez murder case sparks new indictments

A fourth person, Samuel Wamboldt, 21, of Rio Rancho, was indicted on murder and related counts in the April killing of Valerie Martinez, mother of five. Three other suspects, Joshua Armijo, Steven Sheets, and Mark Regan, were previously indicted. Sheets faces illegal firearm possession charges. All face murder, conspiracy, and tampering with evidence charges with potential life terms if convicted.
