EEOC cites Sandoval treasurer for harassment findings

The EEOC ruled Sandoval County treasurer Jim Truscio sexually harassed former employee Joyce Barett by gifts and 50 plus notes over four months, and retaliated by transferring her after her complaint. Barett, now at the tourism bureau, agreed to a financial settlement to be disclosed after county commission approval on Oct. 7.

Del Norte Gun Club Opens At New Luxury Range Site

The Del Norte Gun Club debuts at a 705 acre site northwest of Rio Rancho near NM 528 after relocating from Idalia. A 9 am to 3 pm grand opening features bipartisan dignitaries, demonstrations, drawings, and free entertainment. The facility offers multiple rifle and pistol ranges, with a vision of a world class recreational shooting facility amid BLM and Zia Pueblo lands.

Kerry Edwards campaign holds quiet meetings at Rio Rancho Library

Rio Rancho to unveil 6500-seat arena and City Hall plan

City administrator Jim Palenick and Global Entertainment president Rick Kozuback confirm a downtown Rio Rancho project including a 6500-seat arena and City Hall. Trek for Trash cleanup set for Saturday in Rio Rancho

The 10th annual Trek for Trash cleanup draws 200 plus groups and individuals.
