Probate judge and 20 others arrested in county drug raid
After a seven month probe, 21 people were arrested in a county drug roundup that spanned Bernalillo Algodones and Placitas. Among those charged is Sandoval County Probate Judge David Lucero with trafficking cocaine. Lucero posted a $10,000 bond. Others named include Nick Baldonado Sammy Garcia Marty Willis Teresa Bayes Anthony Garcia Nick Wiggins Jr Chris Salazar Archie Manzanares Chris Montano John Silva and David Silva. Additional arrests include Ernest Torres Bobby Goldberg Mark Zubia Manuel Nieto Lawrence Baldonado Roseann Tafoya Robert Whitman Joe Gonzales Antioneito Montoya. Three suspects remained at large.

Albuquerque men arrested for Rio Rancho burglary
Two Albuquerque men, Mark Banashefski and Glenn R. Davis, were arrested after a Rio Rancho DPS officer found stolen items in their vehicle during a traffic stop. Items valued at about 1800 dollars, including a shotgun, camera, and jewelry, were linked to a Tulip Road burglary. They face aggravated residential burglary over 250 dollars and conspiracy charges.
