Investigation continues in Rio Rancho child death
Rio Rancho Police say they are still investigating the death of 10 month old Nico Ortega after he fell from an SUV and possibly was run over. Police spokesperson John Francis confirms the parents were questioned and the case will be sent to the District Attorney after the inquiry. The boy died at the University of New Mexico Hospital. The family, residing on Emerald Drive, has two other children and a makeshift memorial has formed with flowers and stuffed animals.
