Durham's appeal of transfer ruling delays adult case
The attorney for 17 year old murder suspect Daniel Durham says he is appealing a district court ruling that transfers the case from juvenile to adult court. A notice of appeal was filed along with motions to delay adult proceedings and set release conditions while the Court of Appeals reviews the transfer. Black, 15, was killed in Rio Rancho with 21 stab wounds August 9 after Durham allegedly used LSD and showed chronic drug and alcohol use.
