DPS logs list arrests for driving while intoxicated at roadblocks on NM 528 and near Lara Road, a hit and run near Southern Boulevard, a stolen vehicle involving a 1969 Ford Galaxy, bicycle theft near Planet X Arcade, and a rollover with reckless driving on Golf Course Road. Teens Arrested In Burglary Near Astbury Road
Two juveniles were arrested after neighbors saw them leaving a residence with large bags. Officer Mike Kelly reported the burglary occurred around 12 30 p m on the 400 block of Astbury Road. They were stopped near NM 528 and Panorama Heights with bags of household items in a pickup truck. Names withheld due to juvenile status. The case remains under investigation.

Armed robbery at Albuquerque convenience store Oct 20 1988
At about 8 am a white male, 26, six feet tall, 170 pounds with a panther tattoo on his right forearm entered 12000 Menaul Boulevard Albuquerque and demanded money with a chrome revolver. He fled south on Chetwood Drive wearing a red windbreaker. Crime Stoppers 843 STOP offers 1000 reward. informants anonymous.

Teen Hit by Truck Injures Rio Rancho Youth
A 17 year old Rio Rancho youth was struck by a pickup on 20th Street and Zaragoza Road. DPS says the teen, whose name is withheld, is in stable condition after being transported by Lifeguard I to UNM Hospital. Driver Robert Beadle, 34, of Rio Rancho, was not cited.
