Doves Hatch at Martin Luther King Elementary in Halloween Nest
Nancy Sprengs second grade class at Martin Luther King Elementary notes two baby doves hatched on Halloween. The birds named Teddy and Betty Junior, with one egg laid in a food dish and the other in a nest. Both parents incubated the eggs, incubation lasted two and a half weeks, and both chicks are healthy.
