Family honors mom in 5K Duke City Marathon
The Curran family competed in the Duke City Marathon 5K race walk on Oct 21 memory of Barbara Bobbie Curran who died of lung cancer in 2005. John Curran 81 placed first in his age group and 18th overall, Jonathan Curran 51 won overall, Maellen Blodgett 47 won her age group, and Silas Blodgett 21 took top in his age group while Emily Blodgett 14 ran the 5K.
