Rio Rancho Police Blotter Continues With Burglary and Accidents
Police reported a series of incidents including a commercial burglary at Territorial House Food Specialties on Rio Rancho Boulevard where a typewriter and calculator were taken. Other events included non injury accidents at Grande and Sara and 23rd Avenue, motor vehicle damage, and a residential burglary on Branding Iron with about 400 in coins stolen. An indecent exposure incident near Smith's led to juvenile handling, and damage to property on Arcturus and Twisted Sniper streets was noted along with various trespass and vandalism cases.

Burglary Suspect Pleads Guilty in Bernalillo Court
Rio Rancho man Thomas Kaminski, 20, pleaded guilty to burglary and criminal damage in a August 1983 case. He was sentenced to eight months on each of two fourth degree felonies, with nine months to be served in county jail and three months already served. Kaminski was arrested Aug. 16, 1983 after two residents alleged vehicle burglaries and threats. three counts of aggravated assault, one count of lir eeny and one burglary were dropped in a plea deal.

Church receives building loan for Rio Revenehn UCC project
St Pauls United Church of Christ in Rio Revehn will use a 10.0 loan from the Homeland Ministries board of the United Church of Christ to expand its building with a nursery four classrooms an audiovisual and music room and storage. The project is part of a nationwide 1.604 million Homel and Board allocation supporting ten congregations.
