Bernalillo teen dies in two-truck intersection crash
A 16 year old Bernalillo youth, Christopher Lovato, died when a Chevrolet truck driven by 17 year old David Chavez collided with a second truck driven by 30 year old Cliff O Neill near Eagle Ridge Middle School on 30th Street. Chavez and O Neill survived with injuries. Police say no seatbelts were in use and no alcohol was detected. investigators will run blood tests and reconstruct the scene.
