Rio Rancho volunteers and events highlight weekend activity
The community hosts a book sale at the library on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm at 950 Pinetree Road. Other events include a Martial Arts for Education demonstration at Haynes Park at 1 pm, a Community Policing Youth Project at All Saints Lutheran Church from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, and a yard sale fundraiser by North Hills Community Group with May 16 and 17 dates. Additional items include a defensive driving course for seniors, a Sandoval Master Gardener Hotline, a Bernalillo town tour, Enchanted Hills yard sale and book drive, RAP volunteer signups at the Rio Rancho Library, and a flea market plus auction by American Legion Post 118 Auxiliary on June 6.
