Cibola High hosts Cougar Basketball Camp and more youth sports
Registration underway for Cibola High School Cougar Basketball Camp June 5 to 9 at Cibola. Morning and afternoon sessions target different grade groups with seven college players as instructors. Cost 65 dollars includes five days of instruction shirts tournament and awards. Friday lunch ceremony. Contact coach Brian Walsh at 857-0073. Also Rio Rancho Parks accepts softball league registrations with a June 2 deadline and 350 dollar team fee plus 50 dollar deposit. Tournament entry costs 150 per team with USSSA registration required. Adaptive Summer Camp runs four two week sessions June 5 through 6 p.m. Puesta de Sol Elementary 75 dollars per two weeks. F C West Thunder U-14 tryouts May 18-19 and May 22 at St Pius Middle Field. Reptiles U-13/U-14 tryouts May 17-19 and 22. Jack Hardwick Memorial Golf Tournament June 4 at Los Altos Golf Course 60 dollars per person. Bowling program for adults with disabilities begins June 10 at Fun Lanes 37 dollars.
