Sears Displays DieHard Electric Car XDH I on May 8
Sears unveils the DieHard powered XDH I, an electric vehicle based on a Fiat 128-3P, at the Coronado Shopping Center on May 8 from 9 am to 9 pm. The car, built to mark DieHard’s tenth anniversary, houses 20 DieHard batteries and achieves about 100 miles at 45 mph with bursts to 70 mph. Senator Domenici advocates electric cars as a national energy solution and predicts fuel savings with mass production.
