Youth tops NW Kiwanis meeting on need for a Sandoval Court
Rebecca Jones youth probation officer told the Kiwanis Club of Northwest Albuquerque that Sandoval County needs a specially trained youth judge and a strong delinquency program. She linked delinquencies to boredom and family gaps, citing Rio Rancho gangs, early morning forays, and unpunished vehicle thefts. She urged victim restitution, work programs, and community facilities to help youths channel energy through clubs like West Mesa Boys' Club.
