County leaders alter stance on pork funding in four hour meeting
Sandoval County commissioners Sapien and Johnson changed their vote on funding a September statewide election. They offered no public explanation. Intel emissions questioned by former employee
Former Intel senior engineer Chris Grotbeck told three area papers that managers know the plant releases toxins harming Corrales residents and that workers are punished for speaking out. He contrasted Intel’s open door policy with what he calls a shut up policy, amid ammonia-emission reports last year and costly remedies debated but not adopted. He says he was released for financial reasons a month later.
