Living in Rio Rancho costs less than Albuquerque study shows
A June 2 2000 Rio Rancho Observer reports ACCRA findings that Rio Rancho’s cost of living trails Albuquerque by over 8 percent across grocery housing utilities transportation healthcare and other goods. Only healthcare is higher in Rio Rancho by 10.8 percent.

The May 30 Rio Rancho Observer issued corrections for two city items. First, budget article misstated furlough days at 2.5. actual is 2.6 in fiscal year 2011. Second, Santa Ana Star Center ticket surcharge change corrected from 12 percent to 8 percent last June to 7 percent.
