Governor Bill Richardson announced $1 million from federal stimulus funds to aid the CYFD in supporting high quality childcare for homeless children and home visits for at risk families with infants. Of the total, $234,000 targets homeless children and $766,000 funds home visiting. St Joseph Community Health adds $234,168. Richardson and officials spoke in Albuquerque.
